Always store un-planted bulbs in a cool place between 40-50 deg. I water them moderately once a week once around the bulb without wetting the shoulders. If grown in a frost-free garden Zones 8 to 10 amaryllis will naturally bloom in March April and May with fall rebloom possible.
Nov 23 2020 Because the amaryllis produces such brilliantly-colored flowers many people put them in their homes in the winter. The bulb will be ready to bloom in early winter around November and most stalks will produce two to four flowers. I cant see any reason why it would with an amaryllis or any other flower.
